OUR MISSION: Working in partnership with families, Northside will provide a positive beginning to public education.
OUR VISION: Working collaboratively with parents and community members we will implement a model early childhood center that positively impacts children and their families, during the child’s preschool and kindergarten years.
Northside is a nationally accredited (“National Association for the Education of Young Children”) and state licensed early childhood facility. Northside is leading the way in early childhood education!
Northside’s unique composition, highly qualified and experienced personnel, and outstanding, developmentally appropriate curriculum ensure success for all students.
Family involvement and support are integral parts of the Northside programs.
OUR PROGRAMS:
- Kindergarten
- Begindergarten (developmental kindergarten)
- Michigan School Readiness (“Early Learners”) preschool program for 4-year olds (free!)
- Head Start preschool program for 4-year-olds (free!)
- Special education classroom programs for 3-5 year old special needs students
- Child Care for 3-5 year olds
In addition, Northside houses an infant-toddler parent-staff interactive program for children with developmental delays (Early On). Speech and language pathologists are on site.
