    Personnel Department's Promise:  Staff can expect that their questions and concerns relating to personnel matters are met with excellent customer service.  Employees can expect that they will be treated with respect, understanding and, be listened and responded to in a timely manner, while still being in compliance with our policies and procedures.

    Reminders from Personnel:

    Entering Time:

    Employees who enter their time in Workforce must enter their time for the current week before the end of the day Friday. Employees who have issues with entering their time must email Heather Harvey before Sunday at 5pm to ensure that the issue can be taken care of. Mondays are to be the days that timesheets are approved and all issues are dealt with. If an employee does not have their time in and approved before Monday at noon, then there is no guarantee that they will be paid for those hours on their upcoming paycheck.


    Funeral leave Time Off:

    If taking time off for funeral leave, employees must enter who the deceased's relation is in regards to the employee (mother, brother, spouse, etc) in the comments section of either Aesop or in their Time Off Request. 

     
     
    Phone, Address, Name Changes:  
    Employees who have changed their name, address or phone number must report the change to Personnel via email.  For those who change their names and/or addresses, please also complete an Office of Retirement (ORS) change of name/address form.
     
     If you are a teacher and you recently changed your name, you must change your name on your teaching certificate and submit the new certificate to the Personnel Office. 
     
    If you have insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS),  please complete the designated BCBS Change of Status form.  Please return all completed forms to the Benefits/HR Coordinator.  
     
    The Benefits/HR Coordinator will automatically notify NIS (Life and long term disability), MESSA, ADN, Eyemed and Kansas City Life (Dental and vision for select employees) of the change.
