A Niles High School graduate, I attended Western Michigan University to complete my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Walden University to earn my Masters in Educational Leadership. My teaching career began with Niles Community Schools in 2003 as an alternative education english teacher. I later taught 5th grade at Howard-Ellis and served as the Assistant Principal at Ballard from 2009-2012 before becoming Principal of Eastside Connections. I feel very blessed to work with the ECS staff who put relationships with learners and parents first.
My wife and I have three children currently attending Eastside Connections School spanning from lower elementary through middle school. She is also an elementary teacher, so in our household we hold true to the idea that ALL students can learn at high levels and achieve amazing results when strong relationships are developed and a variety of new and innovative teaching techniques are utilized.
I am always happy to have a conversation with families and intersted parties. Please contact me at your convenience.
