Ms. Carrie Rinehart

Ms. Rinehart has been at Niles High School since 1999 as an English teacher for fifteen years and now a Guidance Counselor.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in English and Health and her Master's Degree in K-12 School Counseling, both from Western Michigan University.  Aside from being a teacher or Guidance Counselor, Ms. Rinehart has been a Class Advisor, Student Council Advisor, and helps with our after school study table.  

More recently, Ms. Rinehart was able to certify Niles High School's first Therapy Dog through Therapy Dog's International and with support from our Niles School Board.  Derby came to the high school in February of 2016 and is often available in the Guidance Department.  Derby was born on January 3, 2009, is a Chesapeak Bay Retriever, and she is much loved by students and staff alike at NHS.
