• My name is Janelle Schultz and I am the teacher of 3/4 Split at Eastside Connections School. I am very excited to get this year started!
I am originally from Niles, graduating from NHS in 2002. I graduated from Western Michigan University in December, 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education! My passion has always been teaching, when I finally graduated from college I was able to put that passion to work. I immediately began a long-term sub position in Kalamazoo Public Schools. I then began subbing in Niles for a year, before I took a position as an ELA interventionist at Buchanan Middle School. I remained there for two years before I was offered a position teaching Middle School Science at Countryside Academy in Benton Harbor. I taught there for two years, when finally I landed the most perfect job for me.....a teaching position at ECS! This is my second year here and I feel like I have been here a lifetime. The amount of time and effort that all of the staff puts in here at ECS is amazing. I am here for the passion of molding the minds of the future.
Please feel free to contact me any time at janelle.schultz@nilesschools.org or by calling ECS at (269)683-2585 ext. 10706.
