I began my teaching career at Oak Manor where I taught math and science for 4 years. Eastside Connections School was my second building where I taught math and science to fifth and sixth graders. At Ballard I taught three years of third grade and now I'm on to a new adventure and that is Physical Education. I am so excited to be teaching PE!!
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family including my wife, Rebecca, son, Harrison, and daughter Lily. I like to fish, camp, and geocache. I love watching and playing sports. My favorite sport is baseball with football a close second. I am a born and raised Michigan Wolverines fan. I also love those Chicago Cubs and I also Da Bears!!
I became a teacher because there is no other occupation where you can make so much of a difference in a child's life.
In PE class this year students will begin all classes with 2 leaders leading stretches and then the rest of the class will be some kind of activity or activities. We will begin the year with the Physical Fitness Challenge and end the year the same way. During the middle of the year we will be learning various different sports and preparing for our final fitness challenge.
